I'm relieved to know that Rafael Belliard isn't on the list. I had wondered after watching him hit his second (and final) career home run.

Chuck Knoblauch was a little guy that had a few good years then couldnt throw the rock to first. The Twins let em' come home for the last years if I remember correctly. I dont remember him being a power hitter though. His name is surprising for me.

Rehab was probably just as common a reason for the use of performance enhancing drugs

no Bagwell yet either. I guess thats good but Im not retracting my statement about the great Craig Biggio. Anyone think this screws the Stros over with them just aquiring Tejada?

Probably the fact that the majority don't have even a year's worth of college education.

Mitchell recommended that no one be punished for past steroid use. So, if Selig heeds this, then no.

Probably the fact that the majority don't have even a year's worth of college education.

I've come across quite a few idiots with college degrees. Attending college doesn't automatically make someone smarter.

We let alot of guys go to get him. I'll be pissed if we lost Adam Everett for a nothing. He might not be the what he was, but he was apart of the World Series Team and that still means alot to Astro fans.

While that's true, GaVol said least educated. So, people with only hs experience are less educated than those who attended college.

MG1968 said what I was thinking.

Albert Pouljos isn't on the list for whoever said that earlier.

Buster Onley said this list is the tip of the iceberg.

ESPN - Questions the Mitchell report should answer - MLB

How many names will be included?
Various news reports have pegged the number at somewhere in the range of 50 to 80 names. To put that in context, there already have been 64 names implicated in the steroid scandal, according to the Web site baseballssteroidera.com. And in the league's 2003 survey testing, a little more than 100 players tested positive. So the generation of 50 to 80 names, after 20 months and tens of millions of dollars spent on the investigation, would be the tip of the iceberg. (And in fairness to the investigators, theirs has been a nearly impossible assignment from the beginning, without subpoena power. But we all knew that in March of 2006.)

And you base this on?

Just pointing out the obvious. Because of the minor league system that baseball uses, a lot of players never go to college, much less stay 4 years and get a degree. A lot of the players signed in the Caribbean and Latin America are 16-18 years old and never even finish high school.

further proof. .. he says a bunch of players paid the batboy with checks and money orders. :lolabove: whoops.

How big an idiot do you have to be to purchase illegal drugs with a personal check? :mega_shok:
