Sorry I missed this earlier.

In a nutshell, Florida has the same problem you had last year: an inexperienced offensive line and a lack of stand outs in the skill positions on offense. The exception may be Will Grier, who looks like he should be the real Mccoy on paper, and is reportedly practicing well. But after the Driskell disaster -- he also looked good on paper, had skills, and did well in practice -- I am withholding judgment until I see what he can do in real life.

We have decent running backs, and some depth there. Defensively we lost some NFL players, but fact is we've been loaded there for awhile and even though we might not be quite as strong there as in the past 5 years, we are still overall a formidable unit there.

I have no clue on McElwain or what he has assembled. My expectations consequently are very low, and I am prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

My guess is as follows:

New Mexico State: W
East Carolina: W
@ Kentucky: W
Tennessee: L
Ole Miss: L
@ Mizzou: L
@ LSU: L
Georgia: L
Vandy: W
@South Carolina: L
FAU: W
FSU: L

5-7

2016 we could easily be back in contention for the SECe, depending on how healthy the offensive line and Grier can stay.

Fairly reasonable. I think the USC game could swing your way though.

6-6 isn't too great a stretch of the imagination this year for you guys.

6-6 would I think be a successful first year for McElwain. I think most UF fans (those over the age of 35, anyway) understand just how far behind we are talent-wise, and will be looking for some real improvement '16-'17.

Just a fact that we aren't going to be relevant for a little while. I will say that you best beat us this year, I do think (hope) it will get tougher in the next 2-3 years.

I had my first BM in like 72 hours (so it was a huge one) today and it was the worst part of everything I've endured. Sorry to everyone if I've been crabby lately.

Haha. You mistake disagreement for crabbiness. I am always contradictory, but there are different ways of going about it. I've been as much a dick to Hog as he usually is to me, which is abnormal. Usually he's just a dick to me and then I politely argue with him. I called him Volmav for hell's sakes.

So the boss comes to us yesterday and tells us we are going to support another branch with an upcoming event. Says we need to help with "Riot Fest" by supporting another branch. Of course, I can't leave well enough alone and ask "Oh, are we going to Ferguson to help set things on fire?"

It's not quite what I thought...

My wife's grandmother was placed on the hospital this morning. Congestive heart failure and pneumonia.

The doctors don't expect her to make it.

Makes for a tough week.

It has been a tough week, lost one friend to cancer and another family friend to "old as ****" disease.
