The Swami is trying very hard to emulate the gangster's dickiness, to be a trumpy mini-me: very loud and narcissistic, barging into the discussion a lot, totally irresponsible and crazy foreign-policy views. The guy is a loud Hindu clown and a crackpot and straining to win the support of MAGA crazies.

Did you notice how when the candidates were asked who would still support the gangster if he got convicted, the crazy Swami shot his arm up first, and I can't remember who was second, but then there was a pause and one could tell that they were all petrified of the question---but not wanting to alienate the rube base, most then quickly followed and raised their hands. Pathetic.

I get that. I’ve made plenty of posts saying I believe we have obligations there but I do get the frustrations. We absolutely have a spending problem so any funds leaving the US should get first scrutiny I agree. I don’t think we should be sending financial aid as I do view that as primarily the EU’s problem. And I believe we should be doing a better job of auditing the hell out of all aid given to all recipients not just Ukraine.

Don't think we owe them anything else. Even if Putin did take over the county, he was never going to go further. All this talk about the Baltics and other Eastern European countries was not going to ever happen. He was not going to risk a war with NATO over it.

However, he did pick the time when we had a weak ass as President to do it. Putin timed it perfectly.

He could have certainly done better, but I didn’t think he was a dick. The knives were out for him last night and he held his own. Nothing wrong with pointing out all his competition are seasoned politicians.

He did seem to enjoy getting in the mud which was a bit surprising. And like you said, he could stand to spend more time on his ideas, but I think his goal last night was to make an impression and look different from the rest of the field. He did that.

I do agree that the hand wringing of going beyond Ukraine is just that hand wringing. He’d have to have a death wish to step foot in any of the three Baltics regardless how much he would like to have that coastal access. And it would be even worse if he stepped one foot in Poland or Romania

If the gangster were president, Ukraine would be under the war criminal's boot right now. FACT. You know what's good strategy for national defense? Avoiding entangling alliances and being healthy financially and economically. It's not our fight.

The others you mention of men of character and integrity, though George Dubya lied about Iraq. They're civilized, nd thus they have no need to fight with everybody. We saw that on Jan. 6.

Biden has been an excellent president. He and the Dems have passed a lot of good legislation that will help America. Trump made an absolute mockery of the presidency. People who just lump Biden with Trump are embarrassing morons. Imaginary thoughts are not facts--duh.

You can’t be taken seriously. Biden is shockingly embarrassing and is being “managed” by his handlers as much as sh***ty policy agenda is being dictated by them. Say what you want about Trump, because both can be true. Biden is in no way fit for this office.

I wanted to see what Vivek had to say. Clearly his youth showed up. I like some of his ideas, but he needs to temper some of his thoughts becoming words. He’s a smart guy, but a little seasoning would go a long way. Not sure he’s quite ready yet.

Would have been better if moderators could have kept control. Need a kill switch on the microphones for the windbags. Burgum was interesting to me. Practical talking points and tried to stick to the questions on issues with facts. Some of the others made that difficult while bloviating all over each other. Knew exactly zero about him. So, at least I learned something new about someone I've really never heard of before.
