The newest HULU box has the SEC network as a channel. Right now all it has is interviews and game replays. Does anyone know if you will be able to get games thru HULU?

The answer is no. Hulu is OTT programming, all ESPN OTT programming goes through Watch ESPN

Wondering the same thing about the SEC Digital Network Channel on the Roku box.

Calling DeerPark12!!!! Any news on if the SEC will be expanding out their apps to cover the games similar to the WatchESPN app?

BWW for you for the Sunday night opener I guess - unless they stick with Direct to

I helped EPB as a consultant very early on both on their fiber optic network and their IPTV platform and programming. EPB gets about 80% of their programming through a consortium called NCTC and NCTC who represents about 27 million subscribers negotiates with ESPN directly as systems like EPB are too small to have any leverage. BTW EPB rocks!

How do you like AT&T? I was thinking about switching to them

I can tell you one thing people might not like about AT&T is that it has the Weather Channel but they do NOT have Local on the 8's, at least not in Knoxville. This has something to do with AT&T not wanting to install some type of equipment into their system for Local on the 8's. So I basically just use my phone or some other mobile device to check it when I need to.

REALLY love the any room DVR and on their system you can pause, rewind LIVE tv for up to 2 hours on any of the remote boxes. Their DVR system can record up to 3 channels during a single hour of programming also.

I don't even know what channel the weather channel is on comcast so that's no big deal. Thanks for the info though. It looks like I'll be making a switch soon. Not just because of the SEC Network though. I may go EPB here in Chattanooga since that is who we pay a power bill to. May be some kind of bundle they offer cheaper

They can only bundle, TV, Internet and telephone. It is illegal for them to bundle electric and grant discounts. However it is important to point out to everyone that EPB, ATT Uverse, CenturyLink Prism, Bristol, Tn and Bristol, Va. And several others all use the same IPTV system, so the features are pretty much the same.

You do realize the reason direct dropped weather channel is because they wanted too much money and did not want too raise rates

I got the weather channel app (free) on my phone, so I don't see a need for it on TV. Same thing online. Have a bookmark set for it, when I need to check the weather.

Now mess with the History Channel and we got problems. :)

Pawn Stars fan ?

Dropped Directv and bought a high powered HD indoor antenna. The picture is super clear and I get over 100 channels. I'm going to add Hulu and Netflix soon with a Roku or Apple TV.

Don't know if I'll ever go back to cable/satellite at this point.

I've considered doing this, but I don't see myself getting access to that many channels in NE TN.
