JONES: You win with consistency & continuity. Our players understand the standard. I believe in chemistry and we have that at Tennessee.

JONES: @MrHurd_1 continues to progress. Jalen has done a great job in the weight room. His body has taken off. He will have a great role.

JONES: Marlin Lane is a great success story in our program. He has changed his entire lifestyle and has been a mentor for Hurd.

JONES: Coleman Thomas has inside track to start at RT. D.Blair (@gotmy_weightup) I am excited to see how much he has progressed.

JONES: I am very excited about Jordan Williams (@mr_rockytop) and what he can do this year on the D-Line, he’s worked into great condition.

JONES: Tennessee is the original #WRU.

JONES: I am excited about our WR position. We will have great competition there. WRs will be one of our strengths.

JONES: Alton Howard is back on our football team. He’s had one of the best off seasons of anyone.

It's funny because Butch actually has a great personality when he's being candid, but in ANY interviews about football/Tennessee, he is like a coach-speak machine.

JONES: We will lean on the secondary quite heavily. @CamSutton23 was a freshman All-American. @JustinColeman27 is very experienced.

JONES: @Randyboy37 is back to 100 percent healthy, he has added 25 pounds to his physique in the offseason.

JONES: @aj_thebeast_45 & @CurtMaggitt feed off each other. They challenge each other. They elevate the players around them.

If Hurd runs as hard as Lane has in the past, he'll be unstoppable given his size and speed. Watching him is what I'm looking forward to the most.

That's an embellished presumption on your part; and most negative. Since you're so sure of Tennessee's inferiority to the rest of those in the SECe, which of those teams will definitely beat the Vols? Would you bet on UT losing to all those listed over them? I doubt it.

Barring a miracle we will most likely lose to UGA and USCjr. Mizzou and UF are 50/50. And that's not being negative, that's just reality.

How many knew that UT had no one squatting 600 lbs. last year, and now they've got 9 who're doing it? That one statistic points out that the overall dynamics of the Vols' S&C program have made our guys considerably stronger overall, so they're most likely quicker, faster and in better shape. Let's don't underestimate this significant improvement. I believe this team is going to surpass merely turning a few heads.
