La Russa has all kinds of confidence in Motte.

Leading by two in the 9th last night, Motte came on for the save. He allowed a hit, got an out, then another hit, and he was then pulled from the game.

Big game for Pujols. A grand slam and three run homer.

Got Motte some pressure-free work in the 6th when they were up 6-0.

got Pujols is a beast... he told a guy i know that he had lasik performed on his right eye this past off season.. so once you thought he couldnt get any better, he got better

Franklin still makes me nervous.. I really like Reyes

Ryan's diving stop at 2B in the 8th is the best (STL) play ive seen this year..

...and Ank needs to shave his beard, its obviously not working.. there, now im done

no, not his arm thank god.. he was grabbing at his left ribs after his last warm up pitch.. definitely not good, but hopefully a strain.. glad its not his arm

great comeback Cards! Beltran's an idiot for not sliding, but i think that turned the game around... Ankiel's sweet mustache broke him out of his slump haha
