It looks like the injury bug has hit the Cards. Carpenter was escorted off the field by trainers today. I hate the Cardinals but I never like to see a team fall out of the race before the season starts due to injury. Hopefully Carpenter's injury isn't too bad.

Let me just go ahead and get out of the way now that the Ford truck grill in left field is absolutely ridiculous.

They have a grill of a Ford F-150 behind the left field bleachers that is supposed to flash lights and honk it's horn on every home run.

Another change everyone will notice is a giant billboard in the outfield, featuring a Ford truck, which will be tricked out with a 3-D grill so large the Guinness Book folks are coming to check it out.

"That grill will actually contain lights that will flash during a home run, there will be a horn in there to sound during a home run," said Bob Wilson, an advertising executive.

We're on day 2 and this season is already ridiculous.

I hate the Cardinals and haven't liked Holliday since they acquired him. With that being said, I hope his surgery goes well and he gets back to full health. Unfortunate.
