Zambrano was exactly right. Should be praised for telling it like it is. They are bad. How in the hell do you let Pujols beat you? You pitch to anyone, I mean anyone, except him. Quade should be fired. Shouldn't have been hired. Should have been Sandberg. I think they have burnt that bridge now. Hendry needs fired. Rant over.

Yeah, but that is a product of run support more than anything. I think he will be fine, but he has been mediocre at best so far. Put him on the Cubs, Pirates or Astros and he is lucky to be at .500

His K/9 and his whip are excellent. He's striking out more that 11 batters per 9 innings. I would expect that era to fall quite a bit.

We could sign some pretty decent relievers if Westbrook/Lohse didn't take up 200% more of the salary cap than they deserve. They may be doing alright at the moment, but there is no way that Lohse should have had a deal where he is making almost as much as Carp.

I'm actually amazed that we're where we are now. We've won a lot more than I thought we would going into the season. On paper we are not a very good team but found ways to win. I put that mostly on a good game manager in TL. I'm not surprised we got swept there. The Brewers have the best home record in the Bigs.

The 7th inning was a textbook bullpen meltdown. I rarely turn games off when it gets bad, but that literally made my stomach hurt.
