Final was 5-0. Kinney came in to pitch in the 9th and shut 'em down. Cards are up 2-1 in the series. Reyes vs. Perez tomorrow. Pujols and Perez are a pretty heated rivalry, with Pujols usually getting the best of him... of course.

The Mets should be embarrassed. They've scored exactly 2 runs against the vaunted Weaver/Suppan combination.

Hey, the vaunted Weaver/ Suppan combination has been pitching very well as of late. You've gotta tip your hat to them. The Mets aren't hitting like they usually do, but you've gotta give some credit to the pitching.

Yeah, Reyes is set to pitch. They have to have a 4th man in the rotation because of the four games in a row.

Rusty was exactly what came to my mind when I heard he was starting. He doesn't have AAA games to keep him in rhythm anymore.
