Official Thread of the St. Louis Cardinals

Joe Simpson did provide some solace for me, the Royals scored 17 on the Phillies last week.

Unfortunately they're on pace for about 30 tonight.

D'oh! The comeback has hit a bit of a snag as the Chiefs have converted the two point conversion to take a 17-7 lead over the Rams.

Royals hang on to win 17-8 despite a furious comeback attempt by the Cardinals.

Eh.

Kip Wells tonight: 1.1 innings, 3 hits, 4 walks, 6 runs.

Some guy named Jimenez' night: 1.2 innings, 4 hits, 6 runs.

Pujols and Duncan did hit HRs, and Duncan had 4 RBI.

28-35

I certainly didn't expect this; Cards take a 1-0 lead over the A's thanks to a RBI double by Duncan.

Already 4 hits off Haren after 1.1 innings.

The mystery that is Braden Looper has apparently been solved by the A's.

Bottom of the 3rd so far: Walk, double, double, single. 2 runs so far.

Cards lose 14-3. Woowee.

Only one pitcher for the Cards gave up fewer runs than inning he pitched... and that was Scott Spiezio! :eek:lol: He pitched a scoreless ninth giving up just one walk and no hits.

28-36
