Official Thread of the St. Louis Cardinals

...make that TWO homeruns today. :w00t:

Also made a nice catch at the wall.

Nice pitching lately against playoff contending teams... 4 runs allowed in the last 4 games.

yesterday was one of the best games ive ever been to... Ankiel completely showed out!! 2 home runs, 2 curtain calls, 1 diving catch... ive never heard the stadium that loud, he owns STL right now... also had great seats, Duncan made that diving catch right in front of us

Absolutely unreal. Tony LaRussa got so excited that he looked like he was going to explode.
Wish I'd caught that, managers like LaRussa and Torre sit there stone faced in the dugout like it's a violation of man law to show reaction.

Ah, good to find some other Cardinal fans. I grew up in NW TN, and my family would make a yearly summer trip to Busch II for games when I was younger.

Here's hoping for a 7-0 stretch in the next 2 series.

Probably going to be a lot of changes in the Cardinals organization this offseason. Should be fun to follow.

Go Cards!

Should find out if La Russa will be back in the next week or so.

The decision is completely up to La Russa, but I'm guessing he'll go elsewhere. Then again, La Russa has said that he goes where Duncan goes. Maybe Chris Duncan will help keep Dave in St. Louis.
