Several months ago I made the prediction that as we get closer to the start of the season the DDNMWB would start lowering expectations. And it's happening. By the time we play NCSt 7 wins will be a HUGE step up in their opinions. Haha they will build NCst up to be BCS bowl contenders so that way if we win it's a HUGE win but if we lose then it was to a really good team.

If he's not any closer to beating the top 3 in the East or Alabama, then Dooley's not doing his job.

Beating a directional Georgia school or Cowbell High or Vandy should be a given.

With this schedule I made the prediction of 8 wins as a minimum a while ago. I truly don't know what to expect in the other 4 games and that's why I said I'll judge him on those games.

Tennessee is due for a break out season. All the bad things that keep happening to us I really hope the football gods let us have a great year.

I'll go on record right now and if anyone wants to make a screen shot of this then go ahead, If UT can't beat UF with the team they have this season, they should run Dooley and his staff out of town...Those QB's from UF are terrible but why do I get this feeling that in our traditional form We end up making them look like heisman contenders?

Fulmer had no problem in making them look like championship contenders. I don't get a fan who thinks we should beat them because our offense will be better, the D for the Gators will be tough for a lot of teams to score on.

You haven't heard, we haven't been elite or a BCS contender for a long time, either. We are on the right path, though, and if we can win eight or nine games this year, it should help enough in recruiting to get us back toward elite.

I will not get excited about beating the likes of Mizzou, NC st and Miss St. You can if you want. And I'm sure you and all the other DDNMWB will be.

I support who ever is coaching, but still question some calls that are made in certain situations. I'll take some crow and dumplins. Just so long as the big orange is winning!

All 3 of those teams had a better record than we did in 2011 so to win would be an improvement. I can remember not so long ago when UT and Miss St played for the SEC Championship back in 1998.

Under achieved? the only game we should have won based on talent and lost was KY....it happens...in case you have not noticed this elite Vols that you speak of...we have not been that way before Fulmer was fired so you need to rethink that.

How about a win VS an SEC team with a heartbeat before all the chest pounding? Alot of teams are slated to be ready to shock the world before the season starts. Talk and Winning are 2 very different things. Let's just shoot for 1-0 after NC State.

Yes under achieved. Not only the KY loss but how we played in other games as well. We under achieved in a win against Vandy. We under achieved in games we lost like at Arkansas. If you won't admit that then you're way off your rocker.
