I almost prefer Purdue to lose to have a better shot at a 2 seed if we win out. Purdue is closer to us in the NET rankings.

Personally I like Nova winning more.

This is probably the worst outcome for us though. Nova gets a credit for the win which helps their resume, but Providence is going to get credit in the quality ratings for playing so close on the road which they lag in. Probably ends up helping both

Providence won all their close games this season except the two losses to Villanova. Unbelievably fortunate to have the record they do.

As bad as Nebraska was, UGA is one loss away from the worst SEC record of all time and they will not beat UK at Rupp so they will get that.

Wonder how Bama feels (though they also beat Baylor so)

Vandy was 0-18 in the SEC a few seasons ago. UGA can't top that.

Edit: I see what you were referencing, now. Most overall total losses by an SEC team, not purely SEC record.
