Opec cutting oil by 2 million a day

I would much rather of kept that money here then send it to the Middle East though.

Yep. When we shut down and stopped driving/cut use a price spike was inevitable once things started to normalize. The difference had Trump won is the administration wouldn't have went to war with domestic production and compound the problem like Biden's handlers have.

This depletion of Strategic Oil Reserves is disgraceful and probably intentional
Bad timing as well
Member when Trump wanted to buy oil at $24 a barrel and the democrats said gross no and now Biden will probably pay $100 a barrel to refill the reserves? We showed big oil who’s boss.

I've seen it on political ads

The issue isn't ads, its pure unrealistic to believe you can supply something without doing the work to get the supply. These are now long term problems, today there is still supply... the real problems won't show completely up for a while. We're talking 10-20 years to get out of the intentional destruction these wackos are engaged in, Europe probably has a 20-30 year road now... that is if they start today.

These people have been doing this for about 15 years, now they campaign on destroying cheap energy and have clearly pushed it to legislation.

Nobody is going to want to invest in any of this.... there are now long term issues will eventually lead to what... food production.

It's a wedge issue that Republicans are trying to make as big as possible. In reality, it's a global issue and has nothing to do with the policy decisions of this president.

So
Sanctions played a part and the lack of further investment in exploration all rest on Biden.
You think failure of Biden to invest in oil exploration affects current prices? Dude hasn't even been in office 2 years. What kind of timeline do you think this stuff moves on?

We've got more oil reserves than basically anyone. These are market forces at large at work chiefly driven by the Russia/Ukraine conflict.

Blaming the Putin Price Hike. It’s cute.

What's cute is making global economics try to fit into partisan politics in snapshot moments. You clearly know what you're talking about
Well you’re getting close. It was global disruption that caused all of this.

People in this country and other white countries have been going down this road for 10-15 years, since the time of the 1st term King. It has everything to do with policy, this is exactly what they said they would do. Shut down real energy production.

The end result is going to be:

- less energy
- less affordable energy
- which leads to less food and less affordable food
- which leads to modern civilization being impacted and depopulation

Nobody is going to invest any of this going forward because the people white governments (west) keep on saying they are going to shut it down, which they are.

None of this is going to be fixed anytime soon as they are not even reversing course on the wacko policies. Its not a global problem, its a problem where white governments have put in policies to shut it down. Real energy will go to the non-white countries as there is where they can get a return on investment. White countries will have to go back to living in caves as modern civilization needs cheap energy.

So we'll produce our own and companies will sell it below market rates. I got news... oil companies like high oil prices. Americans love their gas guzzlers and are reticent to cut usage.

The idea that the problem is the oil companies is about as ignorant as possible.

If the president of the US stated he would “end the fossil fuel industry” would you invest more and expand your production?

And those who don't see Biden as a major culprit, conveniently "forget" he came into office swinging against the fossil fuel industry. Just shows how politicians get away with crap ... voters have short memories - especially those who vote for the idiot brand.
