What happens when Perdue beats Michigan today? I have not seen anyone discuss where Michigan and Perdue play.

Ok. The point was that if LSU were somehow to win, they would automatically go to the Sugar Bowl as SEC champion. That would most likely bump Alabama down to the orange bowl and send Tennessee to the Cotton.
Wouldn’t you think that if LSU wins, that would push us in front of bammer??? We would have a blow out win over the SEC champs on their home field.

Bama has 2 losses. TCU would only have 1. TCU would still have wins over KState and Texas, Bama’s best wins are Texas and…Mississippi State?

There’s no reason to move Bama over TCU.
If TCU loses by even half a point, Bama is in.

You also have to consider that if they go with Bama over TCU, the uproar over allowing them in over Tennessee and TCU is loud. But you avoid that by simply going with 1-loss TCU.
It's the last ranking. Do you think they'll care? Sankey and Corrigan will have that crimson tide all over their face.

Not with Ohio State going to the playoff now. They were the threat to knock us out of the Orange Bowl. USC losing probably puts OSU in the playoff now.

Well, unless LSU beats UGA. Then we might be looking at a LSU to Sugar Bowl and Alabama to Orange Bowl situation (presuming KSU doesn’t beat TCU by 50-70 points).

I would rather take the orange bowl than getting the sugar bowl and bama making it into the playoffs.

Bama isn't making the playoff, but them being in it would be the only chance of it being remotely interesting and not a Georgia coronation after two boat races. They would deny it, but the only team Georgia fears is Alabama - Smart wants no part of looking across at Saban and the possibility that Young gets hot for a couple of games. Bama is the worst nightmare of the Georgia fan base.

I predicted USC to lose tonight. I’m predicting TCU to win tomorrow. TCU is a battle tested, tough, unselfish team who has earned the right to get drubbed by Michigan. Lol.

USC was soft, full of prima donnas and everyone who paid attention to them this year knew this. Starting with their coach and QB.
If lsu upset Georgia then we are in the cotton bowl because I don’t see Alabama passing TCU

An Ohio state is in, but Only if TCU loses big would crapabama get in.
No one outside of TCU and the Big 12 commissioner are deluded enough to believe that TCU belongs in the top 4 or maybe even the top 10. I think they stand a good chance of dropping out if they lose.

They've beaten more ranked teams than Bama. Remove the names and look at their it resumes, and it's clear TCU has the better resume, regardless of what happens today.

It doesn't matter if Bama is more talented. Results matter and Bama has 2 losses and the best team they've beaten is either Texas or Ms State.

They've beaten two teams that are currently ranked- #10 and #20. Those are the only two they've played. Bama has beaten three- #14, #20, and #24. They played 5 with both of the losses close.

If the goal is to put the 4 best teams in then you have to ask yourself if TCU would beat Bama.... or either of the teams that Beat Bama.

I do not believe Bama should get in. I think UT deserves it more than Bama or a one loss TCU team. That's not how the CFP voted. IMO Bama and UT are better teams than TCU. If you take UT's schedule and see what they did against their opponents then look at TCU scraping by some relatively bad teams... a loss by them SHOULD count more.

We want Clemson
Bigger brand
We recruit against them
UNC QB would torch our secondary.

I would rather have Clemson only negative to me is QB U is not very good passer. Say we play them and win and DBs look good. It may be fools gold heading into next year. JMO

Why’d we go to the Sugar Bowl if TCU loses? We are pretty much locked in the Orange Bowl now. Ohio State takes USCs spot. TCU ain’t getting knocked out to be jumped by a two loss team. If they had a loss already, sure. But TCU is pretty safe unless they get beat by 50
Don't bama your money on that being the case! iment bet your money.

TCU ain’t gonna he jumped with a single loss in a championship game. They’d have to get absolutely hammered for it to even be a possibility
Ok whatever you say. We shall see, if they lose by 14 or more we will see.

But what if Kansas st whips them soundly. There sos is sound but no real big high profile wins except for Kansas St. If they lose soundly and or play ugly I don’t know if they survive that.

All the talk of Ohio State taking our Orange Bowl spot ends with the USC loss.
If TCU loses, we go to the Sugar Bowl at worst.

I don’t get why people are upset at missing the Sugar Bowl. Playing a crappy Big 12 school with 3/4 losses is a much worse matchup than a potential 11-2 Clemson ACC champ.

Orange Bowl is the much better bowl for us. Not that trashy Nola Crap Hole
