Sorry to confuse you for a prepubescent teen

Look- change is coming whether u want it or not.. Get used to it or stay miserable.

I kinda wanted to be ahead of the curve, so I bought this cart bag last week. Smokey grey and orange...with 3 big orange swooshes.

Because I don't particularly like being referred to in the same sentence with Oregon

Oregon has far less traditions than UT. Less Conference Championships. Less National Championships

Hell, Oregon should be trying to be like UT of the Northwest instead of us trying to be like Oregon of the South

Change is ok when you're a nobody

Stop selling UT short by trying to be something else

Of course it's laughable (maybe even insulting).

But I honestly don't think anyone will ever be "the Oregon" of anywhere. Oregon is in a very unique position in that they have one primary benefactor who is an alum and just happens to be not only one of the richest men in the world, but oh BTW, also the head of a company that specializes in athletic apparel. We don't need Phil Knight like Oregon does (and especially like they did before he started bank-rolling their athletic department). He's never going to be our sugar daddy like he is at UO and we will never be beholding to him like the Ducks are.

Whatever the context intended in this comment, I'm sure it's not worth getting excited about.

Chrome helmets with orange Power T, orange camo sleeves on the spandex undershirts, all black unis and on and on. Some will like being dragged dragged out of the stone age and some won't, but if the recruits like it and they are the ones wearing it and taking pride in their team and school then so be it. If it means getting some 5 star recruits who may have gone to another school then I'm for it. I'm a 60 year old conservative old fart and i've lived thru a bunch of frustration, and also good times in the football program, and I'm all in for giving CBJ free rein and let him try it his way. I'm the most excited I've ever been about the program so replace the checkerboard paint in the endzone with giant Nike swooshes if it brings in great recruits. No it doesn't matter what you wear if you win but gotta get the great players there first. Recruiting is the life blood of a program.

Yes....I'm really wanting to see a cool Orange and Chrome combination.....also a Blackon Black one too....and of course keep the traditional for "maybe" half the games. Butch knows what he's doing.....I just want to win again.

Oregon needs to want to be the Tennessee of the West. We've won national championships ... their cupboard is bare.

I stopped worrying about this stuff a while ago. Change is coming and there's really nothing we can do about it. I personally love the traditional look, but if Tennessee decides to go the way of Oregon for a couple of games... whatever. I will always watch the games and be a Vols fan no matter what.

With that said - please don't furk it up too bad, Nike :mf_surrender:
