I have seen tons of inflammatory rhetoric from the left leadership that has led to violence. And all of you were silent, excused it as something different then what it was, or ignored it. The lack of self awareness is astounding.

So, when I was looking through the Nicholas Roske discussions yesterday, I saw him openly acknowledge that left rhetoric and Chuck Schumer specifically were responsible for that kid’s actions. I’m sure I could quickly find it again, if you like. He wasn’t particularly outraged, but has anybody done even that in this thread?

It’s just as obvious, and yet this thread spent 3 days demanding that octogenarian butt sex for hire to be disproven (despite the discovery of the broken window on day 1) and now we’re onto “well just because he was steeped in hateful right wing rhetoric doesn’t mean that that’s why he targeted the democratic speaker.” And that’s just the ones who have let the butt sex theory go.

The right arent the only people with Pelosi issues.

Plenty on the left want her gone. She was supposed to retire/be done to make room for the squad. But that hasnt happened. A lot of progressives believe she is responsible for the Democratic party from being more progressive as they have promised. But she has a stranglehold on her district and the leadership of the party so real change wont happen under her.

Just like @NorthDallas40, you are ignoring the fact that DePape had posted 2020 election conspiracy theories from the My Pillow guy on social media. It is a tough sell to portray DePape as a Democrat based on the totality of what we know ... with emphasis on what he told the police. His problem was not simply with Pelosi.
