To question my intelligence? Are you saying that my wanting proof isn't smart? Are you serious? You question my intelligence because I'm looking for facts? Wanting to know the truth is dumb? Do you realize that I'm asking for evidence so I can determine if the information is reliable? You're saying that this is dumb?

If this is what you're saying, this will be one of the instances I won't argue back. If you really believe that, I won't be able to convince you otherwise.

I simply saying that you have difficulty putting post contents together as you did with me yesterday, when I was in agreement with you. You then proceeded to attack me and start calling me names. You became extremely upset for no apparent reason. My comment is that if you have to resort to bashing and name calling that resulted in the posts being removed, it is a reflection of your intellectual functioning, as well as being hypocritical as you bash others for doing the same thing.

Lucky for you, I personally wouldn't use that criteria to evaluate anyone's competence; for you are guilty of bashing and name calling too. Granted, not nearly to the extent of LawVol & co., but I don't think that calling someone out for being ridiculously rude necessarily reflects their intelligence....even if I did call you an ass. I probably didn't need to do that, but that's how frustrated you made me, and I'm not remorseful in the least bit for it.

I'm sorry, BVF, but I don't think I will ever believe that you were trying to agree with me. Nothing about your post suggested that, per my interpretation. The biggest flaw was that you replied to my quote. You then were being super-sarcastic in your response to me, then insulted the intelligence of "some people" (again, in your response to my post). You have the argument that "some people" was not me, but everything else points in the opposite direction. Did you really expect me to believe that you weren't talking about me? Why would I think you were talking about anyone else? It's a classic formula here on VN: "oh, I don't like what so-and-so said, so I'm going to insult him...but it's way too direct to just to say it, so I'll say 'some people'." It's EVERYWHERE on this site. The whole of your argument just does not add up.

I understand that people with sources don't want to compromise them. But if you can't offer a shred of any kind of evidence, why is it dumb for me to question how they know the information? Anyone can make a statement and back it up by saying "I have sources". There's nothing that would stop me or anyone else for claiming that if I or they wanted to. We're just posters on VN, we're not Gary Parrish, Andy Katz, Jay Bilas, etc. so why am i supposed to believe anything like that? Why is that stupid?

Clearly I am talking specifically about you in my most recent posts. I could care less if you believe me and I won't waste time responding to any more of your posts as you can't comprehend any posts anyway. I have absolutely no problem in letting people know when I am talking directly to them. If you think this site is so bad, perhaps you should simply find another board to post on. Perhaps, there would be folks there that are more suited to your level of comprehension.

So you're saying he's not on here anymore? I don't recall seeing any of his posts; it may have been before I joined VN. If I did ever see any of his posts, I didn't know it was him. Hmmmm....I'm not sure how I'd feel about his posts. I guess I'd need to assess some of his comments first.

There is nothing wrong with asking people to back up their statements. Anyone trying to make you feel stupid for doing so is stupid themselves. The poster formerly known as Lofton4Three (NYYVol) is so busy worshiping everything Hat says that his thoughts frequently become incoherent.
