I didn't try to, but this place kind of makes you form an identity you really don't believe even yourself. Arguments lead to beliefs. Pigheadedness and pride lead you to constantly defend. Being defensive in a faceless world becomes second nature.

I'll give hat one thing. He's been consistent and possibly right (relativity REALLY has to be applied to this opinion. Calling people names and wishing for their demise has been beyond harsh), and I know he must be enjoying this on some levels. I do believe he doesn't revel in the potential damage to the program Pearl and Co.'s actions may have possibly caused. But, if you look at what he's been preaching without the bull****, you'll see like I do that our staff has been feeding us a load of nonsense. I'm sure being right .... right now really is the definition of bittersweet. Right?

The real evidence is from Pearl's own mouth. Do you really think he would make public statements that he hopes this doesn't lead to termination if all the NCAA had was too many phone calls and his inability to identify his own home in a picture? He went on to say that the NCAA was looking at many aspects of the basketball program. Wonder why? Get real and quit bashing LawVol. You are the one that has zero credibility and get your panties in a wad every time someone disagrees with you to the point that your name calling posts have been removed.

None of this has to do with my argument at all. LawVol claims to have good sources, but refuses to elaborate on that in any way. If he can't even give one minuscule piece of proof about his sources, how in the world is anyone supposed to give him credibility? Since a lot of people understand that, it's completely reasonable to question his integrity, which is what I'm doing.

I know you probably haven't paid too much attention to any of my posts that weren't directed at you, but I share my opinion, which doesn't need any credibility, nor do I claim to have any. Furthermore, I always consider what anyone has to say. You may see some of my old posts where I'm debating someone and if they make a good point, I recognize that and give them credit for their argument being better than mine. I'm not an egomaniac, I concede if I'm wrong.

Lastly, I think everyone here, even the people I don't like or disagree with, have the right to voice their opinions. However, I believe that insulting anyone's intelligence is rude and unacceptable especially when the insultee clearly explains their opinion and stands by it in the barrage of insults (which happens 95% of the time). My point is, I never have, nor will I ever bash anyone just for having a different opinion. I bash you and LawVol because you're just so effing rude, close-minded, and completely unwilling to consider any other view besides your own.

Also there are certain people on this board and my UK boards who tend to be more credible than most who all believe this is bad, getting worse, and will end rather harsh. I dont even particularly want UT found guilty of a lack of institutional control. Most of my UT buddies and family members would wish the opposite on me, but I
want to end the football streak with UT strong. The last thing I want to hear from them is "all because we are on probation" yada yada yada.....I just thought his statement was very Pearl like and kind of a "face palm".

I don't have enough info at any time to make any claim one way or another. I am on this site a good bit reading. I know you and Hat and a few others don't play the games. I know the board.
