Pearl Grants Griffith's Wish

I couldn't care less if you agreed with me. In fact, judging by your posts, if I found myself agreeing with you, I'd be concerned. I'm just pointing out that your comparisons are completely irrelevant to the issue here.

If you could care less then why the attempt at an insult? I respect your opinion, but I disagree with it. Grow up a little, and maybe you will see that you can discuss things with out being an a$$.

His #1 job on the court is to hit the three. Period. That is his role. He's shooting 30%. He's not fulfilling his role well at all.

I agree that is his role. I never said it wasn't. Just that shooters need to get in a rythym. It is hard to do that playing as little as he does.

Do you really think Mcbee, a walk-on, was brought in to drill 3s on a regular basis? I think McBee has been brought in to eat up a few minutes at times to rest the starters. He may do a terrible job at PG. I don't know, I am going to wait and see before I bash the kid. Maybe that isn't your style.

So which is it? Is his role to hit the 3 at a better than 30% clip or eat up minutes wherever he is needed?

His role is to come in at the 2 posisition to rest the starters, and yes to contribute with the 3 ball. I guess it can't be both in your opinion.

Come on. Everyone, including you, knows that McBee's role has always been to shoot 3s. If it was anything else, he'd never get off the bench.

Bruce has stated that it is because Melvin was hurt from the fall and could not practice.

Thanks for the update.

"One of the main things going forward is that they must get better point guard play. He added that both Bone and McBee will get a look there this week and could even get a look at starting."

however I've heard that Griff wanted to wake Melvin up and Tony wanted to let him sleep. Bruce says you are not supoose to let someone with a head injury sleep so Melvin has been awke since the Fla game thus not playing. So Griff seems to have more stroke than Tony at this point.

That has been his battle cry since CJ left.

Griff makes a mean cup of joe.

I find it funny how some here feel they have every right to question and criticize the coaches and players, but when a fellow poster questions or criticizes something those same posters say they are either crazy or have no idea what they are talking about.

That's because when people are wrong, they get even more defensive about making their point. The people who are right just move on.

After you said he wasn't brought in to hit the three on a regular basis?

Coming into the game and being expected to hit a few 3's, yea. He isn't and wasn't "brought in" to be this big time stud 3 point shooter, by me atleast. If he was he would have had a scholly from day one. I'd like to see more consistancy from him though. I think he could be a verry good shooter, it looks like he tries to hard to me.

Our pg play sucks. Not denying it. But putting in skylar would be bad. Not sure why youre taking it so personal.

Not saying you are one, but the problem with our fan base right now is that some hope to see any option fail. Many hope Skylar at pg is a failure, so they can come on here and brag about being right. It's pathetic. BP has to try something and do it now. Desperate times brings out desperate decisions. If you guys don't think the vols should be and are desperate right now you are kidding yourselves.
