bruce pearl and his staff have no credibility whatsoever. The accomplishments that they attained, though great, have now been completely overshadowed by this recent event. As an alum, it makes me sick to think about how he has disgraced our university, our athletic department, and the athletes he has on this current team.
All of you that ***** and whine about calipari can now shut up. The fact is, we were cheating and trying to cover it up. This makes pearl no better than anything anyone has accused cal of doing.
In my opinion, pearl should be on very, very shaky ground. Any misstep now should result in his termination. And i wouldn't be too upset if he was terminated as a result of this. This is truly sickening and sad day for ut athletics.
If you're asking me, I think Pearl admitted it when he knew the NCAA was going to find out. So, he pretended he had an attack of conscious. That's what I think most likely happened.
More speculation from you... surprising.
Exactly how did he know the NCAA was going to say he was lying? Did he somehow ease in on a conversation?
Since we're speculating, I believe he realized that he made a minor problem that would've resulted in only a slap on the hand into a major problem by lying and thus admitted it.
Everything you have said is speculation. And if you didn't want someone to respond to your nonsense then I suggest you don't click that thing that allows you to create a thread and post a rant that could've fit in on one of the other 500 threads on the topic.
Yes it sucks we got caught. There is a huge difference between making extra phone calls and giving a kid cash and committing academic fraud. Yes Pearl screwed up, but your a loon if you think he should be fired over this.
Very well stated. I think the honorable thing would be for Pearl to step aside if Hamilton doesn't have the ***** to fire him. While he's at it, perhaps Hamilton should also step aside. Thanks to his decisions, both the basketball and football programs are now in shambles.

This just gets better. Is it supposed to be an insult to say that I speculated on what I think most likely happened? Your responses have been nothing other than "that's just speculation." I never intended anything beginning with "I think" to be anything other than speculation. I know that's very hard to grasp.[/QUOTE
I think you are an idiot but its not fact so that statement holds as much weight as all of your Pearl rants

Guess you wasn't a fan under the Foolmer regime. Should have been here and you would have seen lawlessness at its worst.
How can you call the only coach at UT to win a NC in 60 years a failure? I just don't understand UT fans continue to run Fulmer down.I was and saw it. At least Failmer wasn't getting us drilled with NCAA violations. That's about the only positive thing I can say about him. Also, nice to see a fellow Scott Countian on here.
