Shouldn't adults predisposed to pedophilia enjoy those same rights with others capable of giving consent?

I've read where children are maturing sexually at ever younger ages now. If science proves the average 12, 13 or 14 year old is capable of consent why shouldn't pedophils enjoy the same rights to persue their sexual urges with consenting partners as heterosexuals and homosexuals do?

sure they can with consenting adults. Until the protection on children is lifted (and it won't be) then they can just dream about it alone. Science will not be used to prove consent

Sure. Irish travelers for example, a group within a town that does not mix at all with local society. Things happen there that local society disapproves of, yet local society does not get involved.

What you are contending is that there will be this uprising of people wanting to sex elementary school kids and that the politicians and public will go along with it. That will not happen

yeah my head is in the sand for believing society will protect the most vulnerable among us from predators. It's also in the sand for seeing a difference between consenting adults and boning Fido. You're spot on

In fairness I think it's more a case of people becoming more than a little skeptical about what "can't" become accepted. Yes the tendency is to leap far ahead but still...
