Who knows, he might have asked Sandusky about it and Sandusky could've said he was just washing the boy. Nothing is fact at this point.

I was there in June when I dropped off my son and another kid for football camp.

My father left PSU in 59 after his sophomore year because it was too much of a party school and he needed the Army to dry him out.

My father-in-law graduated from Penn State but did not go to the State College campus because he couldn't afford to risk the party atmosphere.

My cousin, who is my age, opted to go to WVU instead of PSU because she did too much cocain on her orientation trip there the summer of 1979.

The name Happy Valley sticks because it is a party school. They know a thing or two about sex in State College.

Paterno could have known there was an investigation without knowing Sandusky admitted to the act. That does not mean that Paterno knew Sandusky was a child molester.

OMG, I cant stop laughing. I dont know what Paterno thought or believed, I'm only stating that pedophilia is not in the wheelhouse of most 70-80 year olds, unless they themselves are a pedophile. Not everybody WANTS to know about this sordid crap, and with all due respect to the octogenarians of the world, it is not discriminatory to say if you are 80 friggin years old you probably don't lknow about the subject. I am NOT saying that octos dont understand these kind of acts are illegal and totally heinous, just saying they probably don't have a lot of direct knowledge or experience with the subject.

Again, Paterno may have completely mentally blocked the whole situation with Sandusky, or maybe he didn't believe he was guilty until all of these recent details surfaced.

Then what would me going to State College have anything to do with it? You were trying to imply that based on its society, State College citizens would be sheltered from child exploitation. However, even based on your latest change of position, what business would Paterno have being in any position of leadership if he didn't know basic things about the ills of our society? However, this is all just based on assumptions, which I'm sure you're still against.

Instead of trying to call me names, why don't you try to come up with something that is actually logical or based in reality and not some weak-ass excuse that you are trying to come up with for Paterno.

No, that is another part of the missing story. There was a rumor at one time that he had the tapes from the Sandusky investigation with him and they disappeared with his laptop but that also has not been proven. Most people think he was targeted for prosecuting a drug ring but the case is still open.

It doesn't matter what he thinks if what he thinks is wrong. Also, I'm pretty sure child rape wasn't invented in the last 40 years.

I'll give it a try:

DA is scared to death because the people he is getting involved in prosecuting are pedophiles, rapists, possible pimps, big money, powerful and could be involved in trafficking children with promises of a better life under the guise of the 2nd Choice, or wtf ever it was called. He's got information that makes him fear for his life, tries to get his hard drive erased, and disappears.

So if he knew Sandusky was being investigated for child molestation, do you think it would be responsible to gather all of the facts from the investigation before allowing him to step foot in your shower room again?
