I wouldn't be so sure about that. Sandusky is screwed, what is stopping him from sitting down with Barbara Walters or Diane Sawyer and telling everything.

Somehow, I don't think a systematic coverup of widespread child rape is going to be forgotten in 3 years. It will be synonymous with Penn State for years and years to come. Not a whole lot of great coaches like to be involved with that.

I'm not denying the magnitude of the situation, but if they get rid of everyone involved, I think they'll be okay.

I'm not even going to bother reading all the posts to get to this last page..This can be summed up in one word...PEDOPHILIA!!!..Period!!..Everybody who enabled this to continue past the FIRST TIME it was discovered should be in PRISON!!...PERIOD!!!!

P.S.-Joe Pa should have BEEN fired over this..Letting him retire gracefully is NOT an option...

University/Paterno lawyers....maybe Sandusky's own lawyer.

Still don't think it would ever get admitted by anyone they wanted Paterno to have the record, and that is why this was covered up.

Joe Pa should be shown the door TODAY! In no way no fashion should he be allowed to coach another game! Yes it may cost you money with a buyout or whatever, but the only way PSU can even start to save face and show they are concerned is to never let him on the field as a coach again.

The Pres and Joe Pa need should have been gone by noon today!

I'm not saying it won't have repercussions. Just saying the place won't be nuked. They will still have 85 scholarships. They will still be bowl eligible. They will still be in the Big Ten.

^^They will find a good coach, no reason, IF they clean house in not only the administration but the football program and AD office they wount have a problem. Way to good of a program not to be attractive for a good coach.

What power would the University or JoePa have to prevent him from talking? If he's sitting in prison for what is effectively a life sentence, why wouldn't he talk?

They need to get the ball rolling. I haven't even seen them play yet. Decided not to get the NHL package. It sucks/

I think the Paterno's are just playing this out to see where it ends from here. They know what's coming, or at least Steve does. Im sure he is trying to protect his old man, and the legacy.



I havent seen any hockey yet this year, but I catch my wings whenever they are on. But yeah, no NHL package here either. I have enough bills to pay! Hoping to snag some tickets to see them in Smashville again soon.
