Penn State scandal (merged)

Get some pals
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Picked some up on the way in, nothing like Pals fries while watching the riots on TV and on the laptop. Guess I can't complain about work here too much, we can do basically what ever we want (except sleep. haha)

Who was the dip $hit media member who's first question following the Board of Trustees's Press Conference asked "Who's going to coach the football team this weekend?"?

That was reasonable compared to some of the questions that followed.

Oh, are you an alum from 08? Get back to me when you grow up.

You havent been reading the board tonite, go back to about page 60 and start from there, then tell me thats mere "criticism" you read.

Hell, apparently age has nothing to do with it. An 84 year old couldn't figure out that he should follow up being told that his assistant was raping a kid.

That's all this boils down to. There was a mass conspiracy about protecting a football coach that was molesting kids. There is really no reason to try and read more into it. If it was any other school, organization, or government position, the same result would have occurred.

I pray that I never "grow up" to become an individual who tries to minimize a situation of this magnitude.

Night everyone. Hope the truth comes out e eventually comes out and those who truly hid anything get what is deserved.

But the rush to judge is scary. Reminds of the cold war a little.

There is no doubt in my mind that Sandusky deserves to be beaten nearly to death for the rest of his life.

The others we will find out as time comes.

adios

Darwinism isn't capable of legitimate discussion, so he tries (and fails horribly) to pretend that he's somehow smarter than everyone here (check out his criticism of me and federal criminal jurisdiction). But, I wouldn't worry about it too much, alum. Darwinism's qualifications to this point are touting that his wife works with victims. I'm sure he knows much more than you since you've only worked in a U.S. Attorney's Office.

You dont have your facts straight. He wasnt an assistant at the time, and you dont know what the GA told Paterno. You also dont know what the AD or pres told Paterno, so you know even less than me, and I dont have any more facts than anybody else.

Technically assistant head coach at the time if you wanna get literal.

If there weren't grand jury testimony from the involved parties that shine alot of light on much of the situation I would agree there is a rush to judgement on someone who didn't commit the crime.
The facts out there, plus his actions and statements since all of this has come out, do not make his a sympathetic figure.

I don't want to condone violence or rape, but part of me wants him to be in general population (instead of isolation) so that he might see what the boys had to go through when Bubba makes him his *****.

OK, now THIS I agree with. Sandusky deserves whatever fate he gets.

RT @MarkMaddenX: Don't believe it can get worse? Give it 72 hrs. People really digging into 2nd Mile. Even more shocking revelation ahead.

During the questioning...to me at least...it seemed like the bot danced around the question of having more info that others had not seen. I wonder if they know some of the info that will come out and how it relates to Paterno

Very possible.

Joseph V. Paterno testified to receiving the graduate assistant's report at his home on a Saturday morning. Paterno testified that the graduate assistant was very upset. Paterno called Tim Curley, Penn State Athletic Director and Paterno's immediate supererior, to his home the very next day, a Sunday, and reported to him that the graduate assistant had seen Jerry Sandusky in the Lasch Building showers fondling or doing something of a sexual nature to a young boy.

How much more detail do you need to fire someone?

(And I was referring to assistant generally not assistant at the time, sorry for not specifying that for you)

I meant at one time* My b

Who gives a **** if he was an assistant coach at that time. He'd been there for 30 friggin years and had emeritus status and was using the damn locker room to ass rape little boys. It's completely immaterial whether he was on staff or not. More complete, absolute garbage from Darwinism.

Well, if he wasn't an assistant at that particular time, then he should have been allowed to sodomize young boys according to darwinism. Damn, he's bringing the heat tonight.
