Thanks...Forgot about ol Tobias.. I wouldn't have thought that about R Smith.. And I was thinking Duke was recruited before BP.

HUGE HUGE news, that it would be that way for a while but you still have to worry a little w/ Duke being in the picture. Martin is killing it on the recruiting trail.

Ramar and Duke were both part of Pearl's second class. Both ranked in top 20 (I believe), and both 5* according to Rivals. Also in that class, Wayne Chism and Marques Johnson (both 4* guys), and Josh Tabb. Chism was the only player to exhaust his eligibility at UT.

Scotty came two classes later, and Tobias two classes after that.

CCM is following a similar pattern it seems, only with what seems to be higher character guys. No offense to Scotty and Tobias, as by all accounts, they are both stand-up kids. CCM also seems to be more focused on kids with basketball talent than athletic ability, which plagued Pearl in recruiting.

Character is very important.. Imagine where we would've been with Duke and R Smith as juniors/seniors... Such a waste...

I'm pretty sure never.

Duke crews and ramar smith were close according to rivals, but neither had the consensus top 20 player honor like Hubbs.

And remember, there's a good chance these 2 continue to rise.

A poster on TOS who is involved deeply in Memphis high school athletics. He has no dog in the fight as he isn't a Vol fan. he is honest, he doesn't sugar coat things or make sh*t up.

He has proven time and time again that when he says something about a Memphis kid it's true. Those saying he has bad info, or is just another troll...I challenge you to find one incorrect thing he has said in terms of memphis high school recruiting...you won't find anything, he doesn't say stuff just to speak.

He's not going to say yea that's right...he has to keep some sort of suspense for a TV announcement.

Hope it happens. CCM is doing a great job making UT a team to compete for championships. Looking forward to seeing the team this year.
