Per Twitter Tee Declines

Maybe it's all the suckiness?

You may be correct, but USC the next 2 years may be pretty rough too with the recruiting sanctions. However, that doesnt answer why fly across country to say no. He evidentally saw something to make him rethink his gut instinct.

I truly would LOVE to have my husband's ex-wife 3 time zones away...I don't blame her not a bit
With that kind of money , you can fly the kids in every weekend

I have a gut feeling that the old/new family dynamic is an issue. It is for everyday people, much less high profile. His wife has one family in cali. Moving and having 2 in the same city has to factor in.

Tee Martins quote.....
"I just feel like we have a bright future," Martin said about the Trojans. "I made a commitment to my players at USC. It feels great to be wanted, but I feel like we are doing something special where I am and I do believe we have a bright future.""Timing does have a lot to do with it," Martin said. "Out of respect to my current staff and players because of the hard work we've put in, I just didn't feel like the time was right to make the move. You never know what the future holds and future opportunities may be different, but my situation at USC is special."

That is character! I am proud he is a Vol. Good luck Tee!

Graham had absolutely nothing to worry about as far as job security.

If we had averaged 45yds on the ground this year, he would have been canned. You don't switch schools because you know the coach is about to get fired. Even if you're a beloved lettermen.

Quit the personal bashing. Are u men, I don't think so. If u can't say it to there face don't post it if it's personal. Good luck to Tee. I thought he would come back so he would be close to his other kids too. That would be my priority not the business side of it. Wish him and family the best, I would be lighting up Carter's phone.

Jones. Geez

I can respect it, but it stings that his Head Coach didn't have the same fortitude.

The reason he didn't come is because he is scared of the challenge. USC is a very easy recruiting ground. UT isn't. He's a coward now as he was in 98. That's why he never amounted to nothing. He won 98 NC on peytons team

As I sit here reading the bull crap about women and kitchens etc I cant help but remember my childhood and looking at the trailor trash and guys who's trucks don't work 90% of the time but Hey they have shotguns in them and they are wearing orange

Hound dogs out back (Probably 5 of them all tied by a rope)
Drinking whisky and smoking ciggs even though they can't pay the electricity bill and if the cig money is wearing out by Friday you can always dip

All I'm going to say to this crap anymore ..Bet you mine is bigger
Paycheck that is

Hey, are you that little snotty nosed sissy boy that lived across the gravel road from me?

How do you figure?

He has two sons that live with him in LA. (One was born in I think 2004.. the other was born this year).

And he has a girl and boy (twins) that live here in Knoxville and go to Powell Middle.

2 out of 4 is half.

Oops! I just thought he had one son in LA. But thanks for all the background info. Stalker.

I kid, I kid.

I would venture to say that had Bama Dave hired Gruden, Tee would already be out on the recruiting trail for the Vols.

Well then . . . I guess that makes it official once the NY Times of websites reports it.

Please. Do you really think Graham took the job thinking Dooley was going to be the head coach long term? The guy was clearly awful at everything, and since the day he was hired, it was only a matter of time before his inevitable termination. Graham, has a great reputation as a running backs coach and had nothing to worry about.

This thread is about T Martin...who is it that you're talking about?

So you're thinking that Tee sees us as a 5-7 team next year?

We play AT Florida, Oregon and Bama. the 3 right there. Georgia, SCe, and Aurburn at home with Malzhan could be new team. then well see about Vandy. I would love it if we could steal 3 of those games but well see what happens, definitely tougher than USCw

I applaud Jones for reaching out to Tee. He didn't want it , don't blame him. Now lets move on. It's not as if its really goingbto change anything.
