Per Twitter Tee Declines

Something tells me if the offer were a fair offer, Tee would be here. If Jones hires a buddy after this, it may be telling. Dude has 2 kids here? Are you freaking kidding me?

If people start talking this bad about Martin not coming here, I can only imagine how people will react if/when Manning says no to a job. I'd pay more money to see that than I've spent on a ticket to a game. My god, our fans are ridiculous.

Well Tee thanks for the slap to the face. This certainly lowers my opinion of him, not that he cares I'm sure, but it does none the less. I don't think this matters coaching wise at all, but it may hurt a little in recruiting and public perception. I've never thought Tee had the IQ to be an effective OC or QB coach. He seems to be heading down the same road as Trooper Taylor, sans the violations, career recruiter with a ceiling of co-OC or something like that. Good luck Tee, don't come back.

I hope Tee donates money to Big Bros/Big Sis!

Someone needs to help be around and help raise his kids since he won't.

Gotta see if his wife can make a come back in her career after 3 kids and 11 years since her single came out.

What chart was that ranked on?

Yeah.

USC is a private school, they do not disclose the coaches salaries and it is well known USC pays their coaches a lot more than most schools...Kiffin went form making 2 million HERE to making 4 million THERE...You figure it out...Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out.

Oh okay... didn't think it was factual. Thanks.

Dude you aren't funny. You just look like a huge tool.

So Tee flies all the way out here to tell us no?

I just don't get it.

And are you telling me he has two middle school aged children living in Knoxville? And we can't get this guy here?

Something doesn't add up. I'm not bashing Tee or CBJ. Just saying. Something doesn't add up.

honestly believe his wife had alot to do with it...when kiffin want'd tee his wife called tee wife to sell her on LA...maybe butch jone's wife should break out the cell phone!!:loco:

I hope this also is a lesson to those that still think Skeeter is some sort of insider.

Unfortunately people are so gullible they will never learn this lesson. I would put my crystal ball/shiny quarter up against his any day. It's ridiculous the way people foam at the mouth for his meaningless opinion and "inside information".

I don't.

Could it be dribble? Maybe.

Could it be a Christmas kick straight to the fibers of his children's souls who thought their daddy was going to be in their lives finally and have a little pride at school? Maybe.

Are my opinions Gold? Yes.
Its dribble because you know nothing about his personal life. Its speculative dribble. The money he makes at USC pales in comparison with UT. I'm proud of the brotha who makes more than enough money to take care of his family. At the end of the day he can support his family.

Could it be that his wife did not want to be in Tennessee, or be around his babaies momma, did not want to leave Socal, her pool boy is excellent at his job. It could be a million different reasons. They current coach tried he turned it down you rednecks need to back off.

Let's look at it from his wife's perspective. She followed him to
Albuquerque, New Mexico to support his coaching career. They moved cross country to Lexington Ky after a year when he got a better job offer. Nor two years later they move cross country again to LA, again for a better job. Now she wants to sing again. She is in LA now great place for it. Now 10 months later we are talking about moving cross country again this time a lateral move at best for Tee (not really it's a step down let's be real). With a new baby to a place that make it harder to do what she wants to do. I can understand her reluctance and if he did it to make her happy as a married man I can understand that too. I wish he were coming but I don't fault his decision good luck and God bless.

Way to logical for Volnation. Toya is a gold digging wannabe starlet (sarcasm).

I don't agree the job is a step down though given all the circumstances.

Would moving from kentucky to new mexico to california be considered support?

What's she going to do when Tee is working his way up----SOMEBODY's gotta pay the bills. Aspiring "singers" ain't pulling in the bucks--until they make it. If She has the TALENT, she will get noticed anywhere--

There is more to this story than surface appearance.

a step down seriously? tennessee gave him his start...lets face it if it wasnt for tennessee and the NC who knows if we would even know who Tee is...as far as his wife goes she may as well "take a step down" cause its over! that putting it nicely

boom

and i believe the first 2 reasons you listed are big in the equation. It's life. It happens. Tee's in a tough spot. All and all, we must assume it was the best decision for him, as he has to take everything into consideration. Our fans say he has to come back without any debate. Like he owes us. They are ignorant.

It's a a business decision, yes. But after this, I hope Tennessee never offers Tee another coaching job. Doesn't deserve another chance to come back here. Have fun at USC, Tee. Don't come back.

As long as he is working for another team's staff I agree with the underlined statement. With the bold statement...I don't....he brought a National Championship here....I do not question his VFL status by not taking a coaching gig here....for where he is in his life right now his family is obviously happy out there...it is what it is.

Disneyland, Legoland, Universal Studios, Sea World, Six Flags, Knott's Berry Farm, the Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers, Padres, Chargers, endless world class restaurants, shopping, a coastline of beaches, warm weather, rains maybe 3-4 months out of the year......L.A. is a fun place to grow up as a child if your family is rich.
