I think its better for UT that Tee did turn it down. I think the only reason he was offered was from a PR standpoint. I think Butch knew Tee wouldnt take it. I think its better if Butch gets someone with his mindset(like the other coaches he brought in). I wish Tee the best and Im glad he didnt come.
Kiffin ain't getting fired next year. He has another top 5 if not top class coming up. He also will have a new defensive coordinator.
Good lord that is idiotic. At least he tried to get him on board, as opposed to Dooley who wouldn't even return Tee's call when he wanted to come here.
Tee is making TWICE the amount of money he would get here...I wold love to have him back but I can honestly say I can't blame him...He is building a nice future for himself and his family at a high profile school....One day he may return to UT but for now I wish him and his family the very best and hope he does well.
It's a a business decision, yes. But after this, I hope Tennessee never offers Tee another coaching job. Doesn't deserve another chance to come back here. Have fun at USC, Tee. Don't come back.
Not a good start Butch.

I had a vision that VN would have a come apart over the news
Never fails
Well let's be honest, USC is much better than us right now. They have the #1 class coming in and Tee wants to be a part of it. Los Angeles is one of THE cities and his family likes it there. I honestly think he wanted to come back, but he has to think of his family in the long run. Tennessee right now isn't proven and we just got a brand new staff and it's going to take some time to get back on top. USC is basically there already, they just have to play a little better. And plus, California is a recruiter's dream
