If you really think Petrino won't succeeed at Arkansas then you're not familar w/ him, he may not win NC in first couple years (don't rule out though) but the guy will be something to reckon with from the get-go. Coaching in the pros and coaching in the colleges is like two different entire sports so you can't judge what he did at Atlanta.
He'll have Ark up there w/ the big boys consistantly instead of every now and then like Nutt. Ark may have just gotten the best coach in the conference, (key note may have) not calling him the best yet, jury is out. The guy's "offense" is like that of S.S.'s was back in the 90's. The SEC West is LOADED w/ top notch coaches (Saban, Tuberville, Petrino & LSU) - I think LSU isn't coached bad but not on those three's level. SEC East isn't shabby either but I'd take the West's over East. Meyer, Spurrier, Richt & Fulmer
The SEC definitely has the best coaches in college football. The parity will continue to be in-sane.
Hopefully Phil and "Rut" will watch alot of film on Petrino's offense and play calling and see the points this man generates, he rarely throws two yard hitches on 3rd and 8 - "Rut"'s favorite route on 3rd and long is something that is short of the sticks. Several NFL coaches have said Petrino is one of the best play-callers at any level. Now this was said when he was back in Jacksonville coaching w/ Coughlin and corrdinating their offense.

He sure wasn't anything special this year. The Falcons' offensive players aren't very good, obviously, but I expected a guy who's supposed to be an offensive genius to figure out ways to put them in good spots so they can make plays. He didn't do that at all.
