"Peyton, we've all seen some footage of you throwing it around in Carolina. How do you think you're doing as far as recovery, working out and practicing?"
i understand that its business and its always a risk but what if something happens to Luck... i mean what if he was involved in an accident or gets hurt early in the season ( hope he dont)... the colts will be screwed again... would much rather have manning there and know that we were gonna go back to the playoffs than just take a chance on luck... with that said i believe luck will be great but who knows. risky move in my book not to mention the money the organization will lose by not having mannings face on it. that would pay his 28 million dollar bonus or whatever it was
Never have liked the 49ers ! But for Peytons sake, with that defense along with Crabtree and V.Davis. He could add acouple more rings real fast. I don't know why they wouldn't grab him instead of " Alex Smith"

Who cares? The Steelers have a QB...... Irsay made the right decision......players can't play forever and peyton is at the end of his career.......I don't think the colts will miss the whiney bandwagon jumpers.....they will get a new group when/if they start winning again.
I was a Colts fan (proudly admittedly) solely because of Peyton. I will be a fan of the next team he plays for.
I hope the Colts lose every game they play. It's all about $$ and they didn't want to pay him his due. Andrew Luck will NEVER be able to touch Peyton Manning. Not even close. Ryan Leaf was awesome in college, too. Remember?
Yeah, and before they moved they traded Johnny U to the Chargers instead of allowing him to retire as a Colt. He was in San Diego one year, then retired. Johnny never forgave Irsay's dad for stiffing Baltimore with that midnight move. All Unitas had done for the Colts was win two NFL championships and a Super Bowl.
