You cant say many just like him when each individual is their own person and has their own successes and own struggles. Thats called stereotyping. It could be a family problem for all we know. Maybe it is a rehab- type situation, but its not mine or your place to make assumptions about someone's personal life that you dont know from Adam.

Wrong. This whole forum of threads is 90% speculation. Very few facts here. If yo are writing a term paper with this forum as the source for your paper, you will flunk quickly. VN is making money off rumor and speculation. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. We all shall continue to speculate. What you think is of little matter to me.

It has nothing to do with the forum. Its called common decency. I dont think he deserves people making up stories about his personal life. Opinions aren't the problem. Its when you pass opinion off as fact. And as far as what I think, I wasn't searching for your approval.

I'd love to see Pig come back just to shut some of the arrogance of people on this thread up! Everyone is speculating about a weed problem. Who knows? Maybe he's actually having a hard time dealing with the pressure from all the "mistakes" he made on the field last year. He's what 20 years old? Who hasn't made a mistake at that age?

He will be back this fall! UT needs him in the slot!

I was watching Georgia vs Tennessee from last year and got to thinking about Alton Howard.

I know Alton took the entire spring off due to personal reasons, has anyone heard if UT Coaching staff expects him back or not come fall?
Howard had a pretty good year last year and could certainty help us with our already impressive receiver group.

I have a feeling his "personal reasons" involve having to let a substance exceed its half life..so chances might be slim he is back.

He will be be back? Hadn't heard that.

Guess he could help with depth. He won't play ahead of Pearson if he does come back.

I hope he's back for the simple fact that I want every kid who has the opportunity to play for Tennessee gets to do so.

People mess up, make bad choices, do the wrong things. All of us do it, with not nearly the spotlight that college athletes live in. I hope he can overcome whatever has happened and reach his potential.

He's a Volunteer for Life and deserves our support at the very least.

I support Pig, seems like a great kid, hope he makes it back to add depth to the slot position. But the 5'8" Howard is nowhere near as talented as the 6'3" dynamic playmaker Pearson.
