Probation for the underage gun charge will be all they should get

I'm guessing they also get him on recklessly endangering safety was well. On the more serious charges, he walks.
Maybe. It's going to be determined by how this is applied:

Provocation affects the privilege of self-defense as follows:
(a) A person who engages in unlawful conduct of a type likely to provoke others to attack him or her and thereby does provoke an attack is not entitled to claim the privilege of self-defense against such attack, except when the attack which ensues is of a type causing the person engaging in the unlawful conduct to reasonably believe that he or she is in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm. In such a case, the person engaging in the unlawful conduct is privileged to act in self-defense, but the person is not privileged to resort to the use of force intended or likely to cause death to the person's assailant unless the person reasonably believes he or she has exhausted every other reasonable means to escape from or otherwise avoid death or great bodily harm at the hands of his or her assailant.

Like the other young man who was crucified in the media based on early pics and reports?
The speaker for the RNC who was scrapped because of anti-semetic statements would likely have been elevated to keynote speaker for the DNC

He will be found not guilty.

And the victims of DWI should pay for alcohol treatment from the people who run them over .....if they survive.

talk about privileged......”you don’t need to defend yourself “. It’s really hard to believe people like you are real

The victims of DWI do not knowingly seek out DWI drivers then stop suddenly right in front of them. That kid was no victim. You are not a victim if you invite something just to set up your reaction to it. Kid was LOOKING for a reason to shoot.

He was running away you dolt.
He was running because someone said “that’s the guy who was cleaning up the graffiti, get him”. He got knocked down and was attacked while on the ground. It’s self defense and there’s no other way to look at it.

Maybe there will be more video to come out because every video so far I’ve seen has been of him running away from the people chasing him, throwing things at him, or assaulting him.

Somebody hand me a kleenex. I seem to be out at the moment.

I don’t hear her say “for that subject.” I reloaded the page and re-ran it more than once to make sure it wasn’t a bad download.

It’s garbled, but to me it sounds like she says “we have an alert at that address for a 99 subject.” I don’t hear the “for that” at all. I’d be more inclined to assume I’m just crazy, except that the MJS reporter wrote that blurb the way he did, which indicates that he doesn’t hear it, either.

They were also told that he left the scene.

So there’s still nothing in that call that says they should roll up guns blazing, IMO.

So, I think you’re correct: how did it go from that to 7 gunshots in 3 minutes is still the question.
I went back and listen to it a few more times and while it isn't real clear it sounds like " we have an alert at this address for a 99 for that subject."

As I said its not crystal clear but its apparent to me she said something in between 99 and subject.

Yes, they were told he left but he either circled the block or never did. Maybe he left the house and that satisfied her. Maybe the girl calling knew he was going to be arrested and thought they may not come if she told them he was gone. Apparently there come a point where she wasn't cooperating after she originally did. IDK.

I firmly believe the cops showed up to arrest Blake for the warrant that was issued. And it makes good sense why it escaulated that quickly given the reason for the 911 call had apparently been diffused without incident.

When someone doesn't want to be arrested it creates a bad situation for everybody. Im sure you have some edgy cops that don't mind it may even like it, but the ones I know would rather it not put them or anyone else at risk. At the end of the day they are people just the same as me.
Its not a job I envy for that reason.
