Why? I'm not naive enough to say race didn't play a part in the MSM picking up on this.

But I have a hard time seeing the headline "Black guy struggling with white police officers" getting any national attention.

"Black guy shot in the back 7 times by white police officers" absolutely does.

I think the title should be "Citizen shot in back 7 times by police" should be a enough but sadly that isn't the world we live in.

If he reached in got his gun and killed the cops or someone else.... would it have been a story? I have a friend on Facebook that is a cop.... he posts every time a cop has died in the line of duty and you are right.... we never do hear about it.

I never had any issues outside of normal relations with my community, only criminals who hated to be arrested and never had a use of force complaint...
If you believe a guy has a weapon in his hand or is reaching for a gun and you are making a split decision you don't pull him backward to where he turns around and stabs or shoots you

Look being a cop in cities is a tough gig I get it. There is a percentage of cops that just shouldn’t be cops no matter the reason

Should have stopped them...IMO...but, that's just me.....at some point you are responsible for your life and livelihood, and unfortunately in today's comfy spoiled America, reality of what is harsh and necessary do not register for the average American. Unfortunately, that soon might not be the case if things don't simmer.

You have cops tackle him and wrestle him to the ground and it videoed, it is getting airplay.

It becomes why are they assaulting a black man? He was just calmly walking away minding his own business.

What is the proper actions to take when dealing with aggressive, unruly, and threatening minority criminals when they ignore law enforcement and leave much to the imagination?
