The kids I named.
2 entered the portal
1 went to Walters state and pitched this spring . Not sure if he did enter the portal or not
I’m curious where the other two end up ?
anyone heard their schools they are looking at??
Bruin, i'm gonna drop this topic for now, unless you want to do as Freak suggested, and start another thread. You've managed to kidnap a thread and turn it upside down over a grievance of yours that is thoroughly off topic. I would participate in a thread you start if you want to do that, and we can hash it out there.
WF is super ahead of the curve. I think TV is pretty old school from what I’ve heard. But Tony literally eats sleeps and breathes this program and I don’t think is ever against anything he feels makes it betterI'm curious about the use of technology in college baseball and TV's feelings about employing it to improve our team.
I know WF has their "pitching lab", but I'm actually more interested in the use of VR in batting. The idea of simulating a pitcher you're about to face in this way sounds pretty damn cool.WF is super ahead of the curve. I think TV is pretty old school from what I’ve heard. Yeah analytics/medical and physical science. When I say ahead of the curve I guess i don’t mean they’re any better than what we do, but they’re definitely doing things different at WF than they are most places, and most people feel it’s going to keep trending that way - hence why MLB teams are trying to steal the guy who implemented all this stuff at WFWhat curve? Analytics?
It wasn’t the word “cut”. Being cut from any team, job, or what-have-you is never a good thing. But the way you referenced it in terms of TV, and all of your other arguing against him, made it a seem quite a bit more abrasive. Like he was the one doing it the most or that he was the worst apple. That’s the way I took it at least. Lastly, Preach has a personal relationship with TV so of course he takes the hate more personal, as any of us would, and defends the man and program that he knows much better than any of us do. That’s it from me tho. Sorry again for clutter this thread everyone.it’s clear to those kids and their families they didn’t make the cut.
I call a spade a spade.
it’s the harsh reality of what’s allowed in D1 baseball

TV and FA are old school, but it absolutely works well and hard to criticize them given their results

Do not know Tony V personally but if what people who do know him tell me is accurate I guarantee he’s put a ton of thought into it.Different doesn't always mean better. And programs like that cost money. But I would want my program to be looking at every new promising thing in case it will become something good.
If you buy into recruiting rankings/preseason draft rankings/portal rankings I’d say that’s definitely true, but even then it’s a fine line. Lots of talent on both staffs this season - Wake ended up with a ton of guys draftedYea only thing I’d “argue” was tenn had more ready made talent than wake
And to be fair I don’t know that’s true but it seems to me tenn had a head start with talent
