Mississippi State has a title in the last 3 years and plays in the best stadium in college baseball, all while playing in the greatest conference in college sports where you’re playing on TV every weekend. It’s close between the two. The only thing Stanford holds the advantage in is the degree and the fact that they’ve made Omaha 3 straight years (haven’t won anything there though). In no world is Stanford “the obvious choice” over State.

Only in the actual world is Stanford the better choice. In other worlds, Starkville is a magical place. Hiking the redwood forest, and eating in a Michelin three star restaurant with a view of the Pacific Ocean pales in comparison to backing over an Armadillo in a soybean field, with your cousin-wife running the spotlight.

This appears to be a good get

Damn. That Arky staff is staff is going to be legit. It'll arguably be the best weekend rotation in the NCAA, along with TCU, UT if we get Holman, and maybe Wake Forest. Plus, they have those freshmen arms coming in from their signing class, something like 6 Top 100 pitchers. Hope their offense sucks.

Their offense will be subpar. Smith, Tygart and Molina will carry this team until they start having to use the bullpen. The 7th, 8th and 9 innings of nearly every single game will probably dictate their season.

You do know that Stanford has more championships and more CWS appearances than Mississippi State?

Stanford has a great program. It’s a great place to play IF playing in front of more than family and friends doesn’t matter to you

just compare the attendance of a MSU game to Stanford, both home and away, and you will Clearly see why I think MSU is heads and shoulders a better baseball experience

Just looked it up Stanford averaged a shameful 1600 for their home games last year and that was near the top of the pac 12

yea it’s clear MSU is a better baseball package
