Well, Halvy did seem to "unlock" Burns' changeup in the dugout. Kinda begs the question why couldn't Anderson show him the same thing, a couple years ago?

So much of developing a change up is trail and error so I don’t want to blame that on Anderson from my seat far away. I just know in this trackman technology era he doesn’t use it like many other colleges or pro orgs do

It might cost a trip to Omaha and maybe winning it all though next season

Old school guy clinging to old school ways I guess. I'm okay with it for now simply because I don't think our pitching was a big problem in the postseason. We need some bats.

I also said I like frank but you choose to leave that part out …

the reason I’d choose burns over Anderson is I think losing burns hurts recruiting for years to come, I think frank is about the retiring age anyways, and I think a younger new age pitching coach would at worse be a wash and maybe better in the long run.

No I didn't but I know enough to know you don't have to be someone's buddy to win a championship or win in general. Yes they have to get along to achieve the goal the team has set but nobody can convince me that a 25, 85 or a 15 man or women roster that it all good. Too many egos in a locker room for that. Micheal Jordan got along with very few of his teammates but they won ,same for Kobe him and Shaq didn't like each other til later in life. But cudos to you for having won 2 championship

I’m just joining the party here, but we’re supposed to believe LSU (in the midst of a title run) offered their 2024 Friday night slot to our guy, while our season was also still going, and said guy isn’t in the portal… so isn’t that the definition of tampering??

Sounds a lot like when LSU offered their head coaching job to Tony V in the laundry room basement of the Omaha Marriott in 21 while we were playing in the CWS.

This is fair. Not ever title winner is the ‘85 Mets doing cocaine together and laughing through the night, then running on no sleep to win the World Series lol
