I think we all did, I had already assumed he would be the Friday night guy next season.IMO, moving him also showed his versatility. While relievers aren’t drafted as high, I thought it improved his stock. Was the correct move by the staff. Sometimes, people just don’t get it. I figured he would be back to a starter next year, too.

If he’s seen as a starter he’s a 1-1 potential draft. A reliever doesnt sniff that spot

He’s one of only 4 Vols invited to the Combine and he’s old. He’s listed in the Top 175 of draft prospects for 2023. His stock will never be higher. He’s gone.
