JJ comes off as nothing more than a figure head who’s instructed not to eff it up. I may be wrong but he doesn’t strike me as a developer of talent or keen strategist in any way. He was handed a Ferrari with the returning LSU core then he added NOS to it.Yea TV has to do it and I actually think he’s better suited in the “old way”. He’s such a damn good evaluator of young talent. Now he can’t offer young kids so that hurts and other coaches like JayJ that can’t evaluate as well just goes out and buys ready made players
The system sucks and it isn’t necessarily good for TV
It sucks. Give me kids like Kirby, Sewell.... Ferguson, Russell etc..... kids that committ as a freshman and we get to actually watch grow and mature. Not whatever this crap is.
All these transfers aren't coming to ride the bench. They'll take prime spots from guys who have been here working their asses off to get a chance.
I'd rather see Kendro or Jaslove at short than Ammick. Give me DD or Tears in the OF. Give me Stark or Charlie behind the plate. Whether he wants to be here or not Give me a 3rd year Burns over Snead.
In talking with a Clemson buddy at Regionals, Bakich is kind of in the CTV camp; he despises it but understands it’s part of it now. He’s a Leggett and Corbin disciple so there’s a little bit of stubbornness there I believe but not to the extent of Corbs. I hope Corbs’ ego gets the best of him and he runs that program back into the ground where it belongs. He’ll spend all his energy looking to tattle-tell on his competition instead of adapting. Thanks
I’m sure that has something to do with it
Clemson has to do a solid job with their baseball players there with $ though I’d guess
What was your record while you were at UT?I played well over 30 years ago for the Big Orange..........
I never got to know the names of the walk-on's each Fall because it was a waste of my time.....
We might have kept 1 in 4 years.......and I got work to do to get ready to play SEC ball in a few months....
