We’re not very talented at safety. We’re just not . Yes Will Brooks made some plays, but we’re slow. Same thing at linebacker. Before the Ohio State I thought both positions needed to have their best game. What we got was far from that. They were good enough to get where we got, but when we get to this level of competition, good, experienced coaches like Chip Kelly and Bobby Petrino will spot those weaknesses and exploit them . That’s exactly what happened.
💯 LB and Safety are the two groups that need to be upgraded.

Please, let's get a dandy and on to WR.

But please lets us the people we crooted.

USC WR Zachariah Branch
Sources tell On3 that discussions between Tennessee and Zachariah Branch’s camp remain as the two sides work to find a date for a possible visit. Texas is another school in the mix, and Georgia and Arizona State previously landed visits.
Tennessee WR Mike Matthews
As of Wednesday morning, Tennessee wide receiver Mike Matthews has not officially entered the transfer portal and is still working through a decision with his family. On3’s Austin Price reports Tennessee has until Thursday to enter Matthews’ name due to the holiday.

Tennessee WR Squirrel White
Sources continue to tell On3 that Squirrel White wants to play closer to his home of Birmingham, Alabama. Obviously Alabama and Auburn would make sense, but other Power Four schools are going to make a run at White.

If those are the 3 teams going after him you have to like our chances with him.

We hold secret meetings on the corner of Peyton Manning Pass and Phillip Fulmer Way.

Well, now that we have "word on the street" cleared up.

That Johnson kid would be the biggest idiot to transfer here for his final season. If we’re just getting a depth guy, go find a freshman.

Some RBs like a RBBC, not as much wear & tear if the goal is increase draft stock.

100+ carries in the SEC & 800+ yards will help his stock more than 250 carries at a lesser school.

Would love to have the SDSU RB as part of our RB room next year to provide experience and a different element. He's smaller at 5-9 but shifty and also returned a kick for a TD for SDSU this season. Averaged well over 7 YPC over the last 2 seasons.

Obviously those numbers will go down in the SEC, but he would be an ideal 3rd RB to go along with Bishop (who's had injuries both years he's been here) and Lewis, who's more the power back. Would allow the freshmen RBs to not have to be thrown into the fire so quickly, especially since they'll likely need to develop their pass blocking skills a lot.

Plus would allow him to be a primary return guy so Boo can focus on WR/DB more.

Brazzell and Thornton were both huge disappointments. There is not 2nd year fix or whatever people like to parrot around here.

Bru Payton Tillman Velus all were good year 1 in the system. Hyatt just exploded and caused this trope.
Maybe I misread. Players can't develop and take a big step in their 2 year on campus?
