These numbers are not from 2021-2024. If you wanna do back to the 1990s, you’re desperate for an argument. Phillip Fulmer was a great recruiter in the 1990s. Then he wasn’t.

For the record, I think RG is the best coach on the staff. But the guy you want to fire has produced more All Americans and more NFL draft picks since the 2 coaches joined Heupel in 2021, so he must not be as bad as you say.

Martinez produced a very good group this year. You don’t move on from a guy after he builds his group from the ground up and gets the results he got this year.

Bobby Bowden was recruiting lights out in the 90's.

I wonder if Evan Stewart might hit the portal again. Seems like he didn't get the usage he thought he was gonna get in Ugene this year and now Gabriel is gone. And I would expect a decent step back offensively for Oregon in 2025 unless Donte Moore can prove he is legit.

I know Evan Stewart showed interest in coming here last year.

Is there a reason Tennessee’s portal activity is always top secret? It’s like this every year it seems. On VQ and 247, you maybe get an update every couple of days if that. You look at other teams boards and they daily updates. I don’t understand why Tennessee’s is so secretive.

Maybe because the kid we were about to get the other day and when word got out he was coming to UT, others jumped in with higher bids and UT lost him?

We arent ahead of the game when it comes to the portal though. Other teams are smarter bc they are more aggressive with it…which you have to be. We certainly are not “smarter” than those teams. The portal is a whole different beast.

AP just said on VQ mailbag podacast that he thinks Matthews likely goes jn the portal this morning and if he does the chances of him staying are "slim to none"

UT only has a few spots abailable, it appears they are targeting a handful they really want not just because someone who appears good that goes into portal but doesn’t fit what they want.

Some people just don’t have the stomach for watching sausage being made and just need to sit on the front porch until the breakfast sausage is done.

Love Sausage making. We have a group from our Church and 3 times a year we make 100 pounds and give as gifts. When you take preservatives out makes better Sausage. In CHRIST Alone
