Yeah that was a great catch. He had a one handed TD catch last week.

Kid is a really good player. Prob will have 30+ offers if he enters.

Parents and maybe sister went to Tennessee. We kicked the tires last year. I think he would've come had we been willing to pay a big number. Ultimately concluded not worth it. Didn't try this year.

then we have two different standards for stable. results are all I care about.

If we went through all the same coaches but they had averaged 10 win seasons, most in college football would consider us a much more stable program. its not the number of coaches that changes opinions. its the number of wins.

Funny how you skipped over Caleb Downs who was number 1 overall in the portal who is a starter for Ohio State, and their heir apparent qb for next season who was number 6 in the portal. Just like with recruiting, of course some are going to be busts and some are going to exceed expectations but more often than not it’s better to be shopping at the top than the bottom

Also funny how you failed to mention that Andrew Mukuba (#29) has been more of an impact player at Safety than Caleb Downs (#1).

I sympathize. You sound like the emails I have to write at work.

“X customer is projecting a need for +10% volume next month assuming the port strike lasts longer than one week”.

Next month comes around. “Where’s the extra 10% you said we’d sell?”

“I didn’t say we’d sell an extra 10%. It was just a possibility that didn’t materialize. The port strike didn’t happen. The future is in flux!” It’s tiresome.

There was no shopping in a case like Downs. He knew where he was going before he hit the portal and probably had a deal outlined before as well. Some players you have no shot unless you tamper.

Honestly I agree.

As much as I’ve cried for a RB and WR, I actually wouldn’t mind using the rest of our NIL budget on this kid and Pregnon. Talk about a loaded OL

Wonder if Heard could slide over to RT, not sure if that would help much at all.
