Last year was good pull. Starters with room to grow.Last season alone we grabbed:
Freshman AA. McCoy. Now all SEC and 3rd team AA.
Freshman AA Brazzell. Started all season, expected to make a big leap this year.
1st/2nd rd draft pick Omar N. Lott. All SEC type season, 2 sacks vs Bama
5* OTackle Heard. Improved all year, will likely start 2 more years at Left Tackle
TE Kitselman. Best TE, best hands on the team. Has NFL future. Starts in 25.
LB Pili. Got hurt but was our best LB.
Safety Jacobe Thomas. Was hurt, expected to contribute next season
In the past have landed WRs Tillman, Bru, Thornton etc. This staff has done a great job in the portal at plugging holes in our roster and landing impact players. Kitselman and ONL are examples of great scouting too. Coach Hype does great in the portal...just not early in portal season. Last class was all signed in mid to late January IIRC
Hey Kiffin:Ole miss also swinging for Pregnon
Ole Miss aiming to bring in Top 10 portal prospect for official visit
Ole Miss continues its quest to rebuild the OL so it can effectively run the football. OMSpirit has more on a Top 10 overall prospect.www.on3.com
It’s frustrating to see the rich get richer and not have an issue with “numbers.” Their coaches make the “numbers” work to attract new talent.Surprise, Surprise!! If they are halfway decent it's either Georgia, Ohio State, or Oregon!! No tampering involved at all!!
He’s being a butt hole from Farrah ggotAnd I can answer.
Because I appreciate posters who bring good information at no charge and hate to see them leave after other posters attack their credibility, as I’ve seen happen before.
Further, I hate sifting through these types of posts that serve no purpose other than personal attacks.
I won’t re-ask. You don’t want to answer and that’s fine. Maybe you’re just having a day.
(choosing words precisely)
The people that I have spoken to have indicated to me that they expect us to add at least one and likely two additional WRs. Their personal views (which they have relayed to me) is that one is a top notch type talent and another is more of a depth piece.
Tate is a pipe dream. Doesn’t even deserve speculation, much less commentary from believed to be insiders. So, I've questioned the Tate talk and never understood where it came from.
But... @KingVFL has answered nearly every question asked of him in the past day in this thread with the exception of questions around one specific player.
Now, I'm not saying that means anything, necessarily, but consider my interest piqued.
He'd be top notch in this 2025 UT WR room. Dude is the 3rd leading receiver at OSU, and his stats would've made him the leader at UT in receptions, 51 yards shy of the team lead in yards, and tied for 2nd most TDs. He was also a 5-star coming out of high school and has largely looked like one, albeit one who was somewhat raw but has started coming into his own this year.Tate would be a nice get but calling him “top notch” is a stretch at this point.
