But maybe with Howard being gone he is thinking that he won't get the production he got this year. Probably gonna be a true or redshirt freshman starting and he sees the potential to be a #1 WR here. Just my opinion.

Not to put pressure on him, but Eric’s comment shows he is the guy to look to. I understand there was some (wrongful) negativity, but the crew at spyre does such good work for our program. This won’t be purely about $$, but I for one will look out for any updates as that side of the battle will be consistently in communication

Be the #2 guy behind Smith and take on Egbuka's role and go in the draft next year (something like that)

Yeah, that’s true. I imagine our pitch is something like “you can make the same amount of NIL while being option #1, and not have to worry about breaking in a new QB”

One thing we fail to consider about NiL for Oh St is that they do not have to put much into Baseball. Football and some Basketball. Our Collective has all 3 Major Sports splitting NiL. Now once Schools start to pony up Cash even though it will have to go to all Sports our Collective will have more for Football. Yes NiL will not go away just because Schools get to share revenue because until these kids become employees wild wild west will continue. In CHRIST Alone

UT’s argument would be to come here and be the #1 option with a QB that has a years worth of starting experience and poised to take a big leap. At Ohio State he’d be the #2 option with a unproven QB throwing him the ball.

Or maybe they told him when they recruited him that he would be a #1 WR, idk, but Nico was also a 5 star, like Sayin and St. Clair, but like we have seen, sometimes it takes time to develop those kids. And maybe he sees more potential in Nico than he does with their QBs. Jmo, but I have always thought it was Tate. I could very well be wrong, but with TN being very high in his recruitment and the potential to be the #1 WR, I'm confident that it's Tate!! Yall can hate on me or laugh if you want, but I've had this feeling for a while and I remain confident that Tate will be a Vol. And his response to the transfer portal question after they won the natty just further cements my opinion that he leaves. He could have simply stated, NO, if it wasn't something that he was/is pondering.
