WR routes. Many times tempo. Look at Kelly’s history of calling plays. At Oregon he ran high tempo.

Eh. Banks, a proven coordinator, will make around $2M / yr.

Hartline is valuable but not $2M per year for not even calling plays valuable.

Yes. Why? He has worked under Kevin Wilson and now Chip Kelly. And Hartline is hands down the best WR coach in the nation. And is one of the best recruiters. So if you were to get him, you would be getting: an elite recruiter, elite developer and a potential elite play caller.

What’s the downside of getting somebody like Hartline? Also, who’s to say if he did come here, he doesn’t add some great plays to Heupels? What if he was another Golesh or better?

Sounds so easy! Why doesn’t everyone do it? Why are there only 3 active HCs with titles? Those are the only 3 guys that have tried this?
