danger of being passed. the first school to buck the trend is going to be DOA in recruiting until the NCAA figures out something the courts won't shut down.I'm not sure why that isn't already the case. Do these schools and collectives not have attorneys?
NIL will settle down. But right now, it's the wild west. At some point, market forces and level-headed contract drafting will prevail. The question is, how long will that take?
Well I have family that live in High Point and they graduated from UNC. I talked to them last night and they are excited but not delusional. They just would like a competitive team and maybe stumble into a ACC Championship eventually..Haven’t you heard? Belicheck is gonna take the CF world by storm because of his name. He has Super Bowl rings. So somehow that means he is a good college head coach.
Belicheck isn’t the answer. NFL and college are nowhere near the same. He isn’t good at talent evaluation and I doubt his coaching style translates.Well I have family that live in High Point and they graduated from UNC. If he is playing at the level he was in 2023, he’s a legit threat to be the number 1 option. That a big if though.Wouldn’t mind taking Jalil Farooq as a 4th option guy.
Just have that feeling, he’s the WR we look at, but he might also want to be option 1.
And that’s kinda why I go back and fourth with him. I don’t us contacting him and being like “you’re the guy”If he is playing at the level he was in 2023, he’s a legit threat to be the number 1 option. That a big if though.
None of the guys we’re returning have past production anywhere close to his.
After our 3 starters next year (Matthews, White, Brazzell), our depth is 3 true freshmen and a redshirt freshman. Oh, and Nate Spillman, who might as well be a walk-on.
Yeah, I'd say we need to find a WR or two in the portal.
