There is no reason to take a RB imo unless the top 2 we have just can’t pass block or you want a more receiving back. Bishop and Lewis will be good. This offense is super RB friendly. Freshmen will come in and contribute too most likely. WR. WR. WR. I’ll say it over and over.

I agree here. The hard part is bringing someone in who is really there for depth. If you bring in a RB as a true starter, then you can lose Lewis and are in the same boat at the same time I am not sure someone wants to come here and be a depth piece. I do t know someone in the portal who is better for us than Bishop and Lewis.

Why not? Not like you're going to get a stud RB to come here to be a "depth piece". Why waste a scholly on a RB the quality of a PWO?

I’m sure others will disagree, but that’s the only position of theirs I want and that we need.

I'm not saying they won't have a WR hit the portal, just not Tate. They have plenty of talented WRs that don't play.

I agree with you, the WR I believe may leave is Brandon Inniss a 5* Soph that only returns punts or kick offs..

Saying lol after an illogical statement doesn’t make it either funny or logical. The least likely position to start as a Freshman is OL. It is by nature a developmental position. The most likely place to start as a Freshman is RB. Pass blocking in an RPO offense is tricky, but it can be picked up in months, not years. The top teams in the country the past ten years have been stacked with high quality experienced lines that average above four years experience. We need to match that level of talent and experience on the line to be great.

It would be even better to get adequate protection for him. Can't throw the ball to WRs if you have no time.

I would want Innis solely because he doesn’t seem interested in NIL apparently.

This was in 2023, when teams were offering him crazy NIL deals:
“Do you take the money now or do you get developed to be the best you can be, and in the long run you’ll earn more money and be more ready and developed by the time you get to the NFL?”
