I did…and my reaction was EXACTLY what I suggested he do as well! Honestly…I’m very selective about opinions (on Volnation especially) I take seriously…including mine.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think that we are short on developed talent on the D side of the ball at this time and that has more to do with it than coaching.

Stop. Good teams overcome adversity. Holding isn’t being called all across the country. It’s not some kind of dumb TN conspiracy.

So before this post, I was just wondering why I saw so many holds by our opponents not getting called... but now I also need to wonder why our holding is being called.

We held & got flagged, they held & no flag.
Pls explain how this happened for 10 straight quarters... and don't tell us the opponents never held in that span as that is false. It took until later in the Mizzou game to see that flagged.

I don't know if it is a conspiracy or deliberate or not, but it is very, very strange. How??? Why???

The Defense has definitely gotten better in area's. Our talent across the DL is solid. The MO game they played with terrible gap discipline though. They had decent push early on yet got too deep leaving open holes. On top of that #44 Herring had a pretty bad day overall. You have to give MO credit though as they exploited our aggressiveness going right at him almost every big play.

The RB was a mismatch all day. We don't have the speed a LB to cover the RB out of the back field. The only thing they could've done was replaced herring with a DB, but that would've put us a more of a disadvantage with their zone run scheme.

I've not been one who calls for CJH to be fired, but I'm in the camp of those who can't understand how we can look good one game, and not show up the next one. How you can orchestrate a lead over Bama the first half and then lay an egg the 2nd half. If we fans who come on here and comment appear to be loony , blame it on the rollercoaster ride this team brings us on. And why do we still do the same failed things in the 4th quarter than didn't work in quarters 1,2,3 ? Why are we at game 10 of the season and still look like it's game 1 in preseason.? I don't think CJH should be fired, not even discussed, but he needs to fix the failed defense or clean house.

But the story and incident at Maryland will cause some concern I don’t know enough to speak either way.

But strictly from a DC and recruiting standpoint would be an elite hire.

Technically we all did come together and stop the Schiano hire and pretty much got the AD fired. Give the fans a little credit atleast.
