Where was I hypocritical, specifically? And can it be hypocrisy if the basis of the two ideas are fundamentally different?

In this instance, I'm talking about foreign policy, you're talking about intelligence. So....

It's like accusing someone of hypocrisy because they badmouthing tacos after you've served them burgers, your accusation makes no sense.

It’s simple.
You call out people who are on Biden’s case after 3 months. You don’t call out people wrongly giving Biden credit after 3 months. You didn’t call out people who were on Trump 3 months in.
You’re hypocrisy is partisan.

I wasn't posting 3 months after Trump got elected but I'll admit I didn't like him so I wasn't going to get into long debate about somebody blaming him for something (although I may have offered up a lukewarm defense once or twice). So, yeah, my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

I am still legitimately curious if he made some kind of shift in middle eastern policy that people think led up to this or is it generally a "Biden is weak" sentiment.

Trump certainly played to Israel with all the talk of moving the embassy and what not. Obama basically bent over and took it from Iran and would not return Israel’s calls. I, like many, expect a return to Obama era policy under Biden. To me they’re is enough evidence to suggest they will be polar opposite in policy.
As to Biden being weak.....I haven’t given that much thought beyond he’s a fragile old dude. I’ll let someone else handle that part of the discussion.

It is simple, I agree. I'm surprised that you're struggling with the conflation.

Now, if you can point out where someone was grousing about and blaming Donny's foreign policy agenda for the worlds woes three months into his term - I'll happily "call them out" retroactively.

I'll wait here while you suss them out.

Uncle Sam demands I write him (what I consider to be a large) check every four months and wish as I might, that money isn't going to magically appear in my checking account.

I'm very fortunate that my governor choose wisely when it came to keeping Florida open.

Pipeline or not some oil will still arrive via tanker truck but it could be a lot more. That's the irony in the entire "environmental" lobby. Plenty of oil in the tar sands further north in Alberta. Canadians would love to crank production back up to max output.

I'd have thought by now you'd have gotten past that confused stage just after sunset and recognized your conflation. Though, I suppose the strict dichotomy of to critize or not doesn't depend on content or context in your world. Black or white.
