Coaches mentioned with ST experience= Shneider, Drayton, Gran.

To many names and not enough spots. Will be interesting to see how the staff ends up. It would be a shame to not have room for Gran.

The only way it could work out is if Chaney is taking TEs along with OL. I wouldn't mind seeing Gran at RBs and Drayton with STs.

They need to do whatever they can to get the best ST coach available. Games change on STs. Whoever we get needs to be the same caliber as Kiffin/Orgeron or Kiffin/Chaney. We went out and got the best O and D coordinators available so why not get the best ST coordinator available. I don't know who that is, I like what I read of Gran but I don't know.

But then what would Cregg coach? Most already have him slotted as the TE coach. I don't know how this is going to work out.

I really don't think Gonzo is coming here. I think Lane would prefer Jermey Bates, Kelly Skipper, or Brian Schneider on the staff. Cregg will coach OL or TE's. He has no experience as a LB coach. I think Drayton is out. Gran would be a better RB's coach and he can coach ST's. Monte will bring in experinced defensive coaches that he has worked with (Bradley and Lake). The rest of the staff should be in place by the end of next week.

Confirmed Staff Members
HC- Lane Kiffin
OC/OL- Jim Chaney
QB- David Reaves
TE- James Cregg
DC- Monte Kiffin
DL/RC- Ed Orgeron

6 coaches. 5 have NFL experience. 4 have been recruiting Coordinators at BCS level schools. 3 have been Head Coaches at least at the college level. Impressive start Mr. Kiffin.

Coach Fulmer gave his all for Tennessee, but the change was made, and so we move on and welcome Coach Kiffin and his staff. I've been very impressed with what he's been able to accomplish in such a short time.

If you read the book Meat Market about him recruiting you will know how painful it must have been for him to watch Ole (Dumba$$) Miss win today with all the guys he busted his butt to recruit. Has there been anything on the boards down there about Miles offering Coach O $900,000 at his home on Thursday morning to come to LSU and O told him that he had already signed with UT?
